THE GREAT EASTERN MAIL
The Great Eastern Mail is a community-focused newspaper produced for East Gippslanders in Victoria. It is distributed in hardcopy and online every fortnight.
I have been engaged as a freelance journalist since Issue 51 (now up to #89). My role is to develop ideas, source content, conduct interviews and write cover stories, as well as other articles for inclusion.
I have authored 31 of the cover stories in the 35 issues that I have been involved with.
OH! MAGAZINE
Over the course of five and a half years, as the owner, publisher and editor, we produced 65 issues and 346 versions of OH! Magazine, as well as 17 specialty publications.
During this time, the publication won numerous awards – both local and national – and we are extremely proud to have created Australia’s and New Zealand’s first and only online, customisable, money-making magazine for health clubs.

Children’s Books for Charity
I authored and coordinated the production of a three-book series of children’s books for a local wildlife shelter that needed fundraising to support the rehabilitation of orphaned animals.
The stories were based on actual animals that had been rescued by the shelter, and they quickly raised over $2,500 via sales, with all profits used to keep the shelter running and the animals cared for.

FILEX Fitness Industry Convention
We’ve been involved with the FILEX Fitness Industry Convention for almost two decades, and in recent years we’ve been charged with the honour of helping to finesse the website text required to attract, engage and inspire purchasing action from potential delegates.
FILEX caters to the educational and networking needs of fitness professionals and fitness business owners and managers, by providing hundreds of educational sessions, which are delivered over three days. And for more than 30 years, it has been the epicentre of the Australian fitness industry. Today, the event is powered by Fitness Australia, and is held at the International Convention Centre in Sydney.
Impact Training Corporation
We are proud to be the go-to copywriter for multi-award-winning sales consultant and presenter, Steve Jensen and his internationally-recognised organisation, Impact Training Corporation. We check all the Is are dotted and the Ts are crossed, in Steve’s proposals, eBooks, web pages and course content.
For the past 30+ years, Steve and his teams have been teaching individuals and businesses from all over the globe how to double or triple their sales income, by learning and implementing the systems, processes and techniques that he’s developed.
The Exercise Association of New Zealand
The Exercise Association of New Zealand (ExerciseNZ) is a non-profit representative organisation, operating under an incorporated society membership structure.
We are proud to have developed direct marketing and other communications messages for Exercise New Zealand and its programs, events and services they provide to the New Zealand fitness industry. Our contribution included copywriting promotional information for their annual Exercise Association Roadshow, FitEx Conference, and Hauora Yoga Conference.
